The National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD), which represents the interests of the funeral profession, has an opportunity for a dynamic individual to take on the crucial role of Standards and Quality Manager covering the north of England and Northern Ireland.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and part of a team of four, the Standards and Quality Manager is responsible for not only ensuring that members are compliant with the highest professional standards, but for making a wider contribution through active representation of the NAFD in the recruitment of new members and promotion of the role of standards and the benefits of membership.
Highly organised, self-motivated and solutions focused, the successful candidate for the role will be a highly effective communicator and adept at building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. The ability to assimilate and analyse information quickly is also essential for success. The ideal candidate will have an interest and drive to become involved in the development of the profession and a working knowledge of current affairs and the changing political landscape.

The ability to travel is essential and applicants must have a full UK driving licence.
Direct experience in the funeral industry is a prerequisite and previous experience within a professional body and/or regulated organisation would be an advantage.
